Opportunity to Highlight Biofilm Researchers

The CBE is launching a new program to encourage the participation of outstanding non-MSU biofilm investigators in our semi-annual Montana Biofilm S&T Meetings.

Targeting postdoctoral researchers and newly hired faculty, up to two investigators will be invited to present research at each MBM, and

provided a $750 travel stipend and free attendance at the meeting.

Interested young investigators are encouraged to submit abstracts to Paul Sturman, CBE Industrial Coordinator, by November 1, 2009.

Awardees will be chosen by the CBE Executive Committee based on research quality and relevance of the material to the CBE's mission.

The CBE’s mission is to advance fundamental interdisciplinary research and education related to the management of bacterial biofilms, and to transfer that knowledge to the realm of applied science and technology.
