CBE faculty Rich Macur, research assistant professor, chemical and biological engineering, and Brent Peyton, department head, chemical and biological engineering, along with Little Big Horn College’s Jonah Morsette, science instructor, will receive $210,000 over three years to develop fast growing strains of nitrogen-fixing cyanobacteria to help advance carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technologies.
